Jennifer Berezan is a unique blend of singer/songwriter, teacher, and activist.
Over the course of eight albums, she has developed and explored recurring themes with a rare wisdom. Her lifelong involvement in environmental, women’s, and other justice movements as well as an interest in Buddhism and earth-based spirituality are at the heart of her writing.  Though her songs often confront universal issues, her perspective is informed by a refreshing and honest intimacy. Raised in the prairies of Alberta, Canada, the transformative power of nature is also at the heart of her work. The Canadian born singer calls Berkeley, California home when not on tour.
Praises for the World is a devotional and ecstatic long playing chant for our world. An extraordinary and unique mix of renowned musicians, singers and poets join Jennifer Berezan to create this healing and celebratory musical landscape.

With special guests: Alice Walker, Patti Cathcart, Jami Sieber, Chris Webster, Riffat Salamat, Erika Luckett, Barbara Higbie, Joey Blake, David Worm, Anthony Costello, Rick Lazar, Michaelle Goerlitz, don benedictson, Jackeline Rago and the Voices of Nature.

"A beautiful response to the hunger in the human heart for devotion to the gift of life. Awakening us to our own gratitude and solidarity with all beings."
    -- Joanna Macy

Returning: A long playing healing chant to the Mother of Us All.

Recorded in the Oracle Chamber in the Hypogeum at Hal Saflieni, Malta. A 6000 year old Goddess temple made for sound. ReTurning is an extraordinary follow up to Jennifer Berezan's classic album She Carries Me. Evoking the lineage of ancient singing Priestesses, Jennifer weaves together a rich musical tapestry. A unique and beautiful blend of some of the world's most profound sacred musical traditions. Timeless and Contemporary.

With Special Guests: Linda Tillery, Sharon Burch, Chris Webster, Rick Lazar (from Loreena Mckennit Band) and others.

"Motherheart whispering to us from over the ages, yearning for us to know her".

Now after 12 CD's ( 2 pop and blues and 10 inspirational CDs), Karen travels around the country performing and speaking at conferences, retreats, churches, doing concerts, workshops, and organizing her own spiritual retreats. She has worked with such inspirational authors as Joan Borysekno, Mary Manin Morrissey, Oriah Mountain Dreamer, Alan Cohen, SARK, and has been honored to receive an honorary doctorate from the United Church Of Religious Science.

"When I get letters from people telling me that my songs or chants have helped them deal with illness, loss, or just help them center for the day, it validates that I am doing my right work. I want to    to help people and make a difference with my music. It was Mother Theresa who said, We cannot do great things, only small things with love. That is my main intention with my music. If I am making a difference in some small way then I am happy."

Sheilah Glover
Sheilah Glover has been creating musical offerings
in various forms for three decades.  Whether it has been with the infamous Nicholas, Glover, and Wray; Broadway legend, Barbara Cook; drum goddess, Barbara Borden; or a SF Bay area Big Band - her flawless vocals have complimented the best of the best.  With her POWER OF THE SOUL and LOVE MINUS ZERO, Glover soars independently in her own vessel making her mark as a stellar songwriter and pianist, as well as the singer we know. The former, with Comfort Pie's #2 Most Nourishing Song (Breath Song) is a personal prayer up for easy adoption as our own; and the latter is the absolute in music to which we can unwind.  Both CDs, in different ways, are musical massages when we are in need of self love.
LOVE MINUS ZERO
Sheilah's pure, jazzy vocals lend themselves to standards as well as the pop songs of Randy Newman, Bob Dylan
and Jimmy Webb, and one gorgeous original.
POWER OF THE SOUL is a musical journey about learning to love one's self, exploring love with others, and listening to one's own inner voices. Songs are musically evocative with an upbeat message.
